For NHS Confed Expo, I was tasked with transforming their tired and outdated look into something fresh, modern and engaging. The event needed an identity that captured its core themes—inspiration, appreciation and connection—while still respecting the NHS’s well-established brand guidelines.

The Outcome
The result is a vibrant and dynamic identity that brings energy and importance to the event. By leveraging bold colours, strategic typography and movement-inspired graphics, I created a visual system that elevates the NHS Confed Expo without breaking the rules.
The design uses layers of colour and fluid shapes to represent collaboration and innovation, ensuring the event stands out in a sector often constrained by formal aesthetics. The identity not only modernises the look of the conference but also reinforces its role as a space for forward-thinking discussion and connection.
This project proved that even within the strictest brand guidelines, creativity can thrive—delivering an event identity that feels fresh, engaging and unmistakably NHS Confed Expo.
